At Store Forte, we pour our hearts into crafting every Swedish ladder, Pickler set, and custom bed. Because our products are made from natural wood and often finished by hand, each piece carries its own unique character. If your order doesn’t meet your expectations or if you encounter a rare crafting imperfection, please don’t worry. We are committed to ensuring your home remains a place of safe, joyful play.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

• The product is unused, unassembled, and in its original condition.
• The item is returned in its original packaging with all hardware and accessories included.
• You provide a valid proof of purchase.
• The return has been pre-authorized by our support team.

Please note: Returns sent back without prior communication or approval cannot be processed.

Types of Returns & Resolutions

1. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or transit damage, please email us clear photos/videos of the issue. Depending on the situation, we will provide:

• A free replacement of the damaged part.
• A full replacement of the unit.
• Expert repair advice or a partial refund if you choose to keep the item.

2. Missing or Incorrect Components

Human errors happen! If a bolt is missing or a rung is incorrect, we will dispatch the correct components to your UK address immediately at no extra cost to you.

3. Change of Mind

If you decide the item isn't the right fit for your space:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• A restocking fee of 10% may be deducted from your refund to cover inspection and repackaging costs.
• Note: This does not apply to custom-made or bespoke orders (see our Terms & Conditions).

4. Missed Discount Codes

We cannot retroactively apply promotional codes once an order is placed. However, if you missed a sale, contact us! We’d be happy to provide a personal coupon code for your next adventure with us.

5. Refused Deliveries

If a parcel is "Returned to Sender" because it was refused at the door or the address was incorrect without prior notice, any return shipping fees or logistics costs incurred by Chapter II LTD will be deducted from your final refund.

Refund Timeline

• Inspection: Once your return arrives at our UK facility, please allow 3–5 business days for our team to inspect the timber and components.
• Processing: Following approval, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
• Notification: You will receive a confirmation email the moment the refund is triggered.

Important Considerations

• Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to a defect or our error, shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Alternative Solutions: In cases where a physical return is difficult (due to the size of the equipment), we may offer a fair partial refund or store credit to resolve the issue quickly.
